What Color is Love?
What causes someone to fall in love? Emotion? Desire? Feeling weak? Outer apperance? Or is it something more?
I think the heart knows no color. Between black, asian, caucasion, or indian, love has no barrier. Some may even argue that love has no sex. Female can love female, and male can love male. So then...what is the line the heart draws in the sand? Is there one?!
My head is saying no...but my heart is saying yes.....
Love knows no common sense. Love knows not the amount in your bank account, and it doesn't care. It doesn't care about the size of your shoes or the size of the stick in your pants. It doesn't bother itself with cup size or dress size. All it cares is that it is there.....and when it IS there, when it is TRUELY there, I believe it never leaves.
The people that think hold this thing called 'love' may grow weary, angry, maybe even regretful. But by then it is too late. These people are married with kids, houses, buisnesses, and lives. So where did the love go? Did it finally wake up and look in the mirror? Was it even there to start with? WHAT HAPPENED?
Unfortunetly, this happens to way too many people. Love is not just that first year, or that wedding day. Love is so much more. Love is a daily choice, a daily proclaimation of what you feel and what you believe. Don't let anyone tell you different. Because at the end of the day, it ISN'T about what your car, money, where you live, where you work, or what you wear. It's not about a job promotion or having the latest Coach purse.
What is the point to have all and come home to an empty mansion? What is the point to live a life of luxuray, but die alone and sad? I would rather live every day of my life with colorless, unbiased love than to die without anyone.
So... if the one your heart chooses is black, blue, red, orange, or white.....
